EDUCATION & COMMUNITY

Making environmental issues something people can discuss and join.

Through courses, peer tutoring, forums, and film, I turn research into shared learning.

01 · STUDENT LECTURE HALL

Garlic, chemistry & six ancient cultures.

I wrote a three-part, 51-page course connecting ancient cultures, allicin chemistry, and agricultural systems — then taught it to classmates as a campus course instructor.

02 · PUBLIC-SERVICE FILM

Beef & Climate

HOSA China · National Gold

I researched the water use, land occupation, and methane emissions of beef production, then translated the evidence into a concise film anyone can watch in a few minutes.

03 · POLICY & OUTREACH

Battery to Soil

I founded Battery-to-Soil, a youth-led initiative tackling soil pollution from lead-acid battery waste. I surveyed 50+ experts and residents across four provinces to trace how discarded batteries contaminate soil and local ecosystems, installed battery-recycling bins, and reached 500+ residents through community outreach — raising awareness of battery waste, soil pollution, and environmental policy.

04 · PEER TUTORING

Chemistry, Taught by Students

After studying university-level organic, physical, and coordination chemistry, I compiled advanced notes and tutored 20 classmates — 14 went on to win gold in UKChO, CCC, or C3L6.
